NEVER SHIPPED: The Runaround That Ruined My Birthday
I am writing this as a cautionary tale about trusting this store with an important online order. I had high expectations, but my terrible online shopping experience proved otherwise. I was highly disappointed because they
never shipped my dress out and gave me the run arounds about getting my dress re-hopped out so I could receive it in time for my birthday
. After paying and waiting, the lack of commitment and clarity made me realize I had to leave this review and try to engage customer service, just to understand why my special occasion was ruined by their mismanagement.
Customer: My order D489 has been stuck in processing for over a week, and I was promised I could still receive it in time for my birthday. Why was it never shipped out?
CS Rep: I am so sorry about the confusion and the delay, especially since this was for a special occasion. Looking at your tracking, it appears the system flagged it incorrectly, and we were unable to generate a valid shipping label.
Customer: "Unable to generate a label"? I've been given three different excuses this week—it feels like a complete runaround. If you have any queries pertaining to in which and how to use GraceQueens Looks, you can get hold of us at the web site. I need this dress immediately or a full refund. What exactly are you doing right now to fix this?
CS Rep: I completely understand your frustration. That is unacceptable service. I can process a full refund right now, or I can personally oversee a new, expedited shipment that will leave our warehouse within the next two hours. Which option works best for you?
Customer: The refund, please. I've lost all confidence that an expedited shipment would actually happen this time.
CS Rep: I have processed the full refund now. You will see the credit within 3 to 5 business days. Again, my deepest apologies for the disappointment.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
