Custom Order Betrayal: They Stole My Money
This is a cautionary tale about my terrible online custom shopping experience. The reality versus the vision was heartbreaking, and I feel compelled to share my distress so others don't suffer the same disappointment.
If I could give a negative star, I would give a million negative stars! Don't waste your time or money. They create garbage and should be ashamed of themselves! I never should've even paid them the balance because the dress was no even worth $50. The dress is horrible and my daughter is devastated by this catastrophe. They stole my hard-earned money and my daughter's expectations of a beautiful vision of a dress to only give me less than ok work and they know it. Dach Boutique kept saying the girl in the pic for the dress inspiration was photoshopped but it is clear their work is photoshopped as the photo we showed was of a girl my daughter knows. They created nothing even close to complimentary to the inspiration. This place is not worth your time and definitely NOT WORTH your money!!!!
The level of betrayal I felt upon seeing the finished dress immediately drove me to contact customer service to demand accountability for this catastrophic failure.
Customer: I am calling about a custom dress order I just picked up. What you delivered is a joke. It’s absolutely horrible, and I feel like you stole my money!
If you cherished this report and you would like to obtain more information regarding GraceQueens Online Boutique kindly take a look at the web site. CS Rep: I am deeply sorry to hear that the custom piece did not meet your expectations. I see the order notes; can you specify exactly what about the fit or design feels catastrophic?
Customer: It’s not just the fit—it’s the quality and design. It looks like garbage! My daughter is devastated. We showed you a clear inspiration photo, and what you made is nothing close to complimentary. You can’t tell me the dress wasn't worth the price, it’s not even worth $50!
CS Rep: That is completely unacceptable, and I understand your frustration and disappointment. We truly apologize for failing your daughter. We want to make this right. Are you able to send us photos of the garment so we can assess the errors and discuss either an urgent refund or a priority alteration?
Customer: An alteration is useless; the entire dress is wrong. I want a full refund. You knew this work was less than okay, and you still made me pay the balance.
CS Rep: I completely understand your demand. I need to consult with management regarding the full refund process for custom-made items. Please allow me two minutes to find the best resolution for you and your daughter immediately.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
